My name is Francesco and, together with my wife, I am the owner of the young company Agr “Il Cilone”. Our business focuses on the production of olive oil and wine following the principles of organic farming. The company is based in Castiglion Fiorentino, in the province of Arezzo. It is a charming medieval village situated in an area characterized by terraced olive groves and vineyards.
The wine we produce is 100% Ciliegolo, an ancient, native grape variety. The vineyard is located at 350 meters above sea level in the hills of the beautiful and green Chio Valley (whose original Etruscan name, according to historical documents, is believed to be “Valley of God”).
The olive oil we produce is IGP certified and made from the classic Tuscan cultivars: Moraiolo, Frantoiano, and Leccino. The olive groves are located around the vineyard.
