GARGONZA, immerse in the green of its forest, from the 1300’s was a fortified village in the hands of the “Ghibellini” and from 1444 it became for 300 years an agricultural community dedicated to the forest and “governed” by sage civic status. Then at the end of 1700 it became a farm.
After the rural exodus it ceased its share-cropping activity; Today we have recovered the cultivation of the olive grove and the vineyard.
Fortunately enough, the characteristic houses and the property attachments, remain covered in its walls, and were turned into comfortable habitations, already an estate, today congress facilities.
