We are right in the center of Tuscany between Arezzo, Florence and Siena and placed on the south-eastern borders of the Chianti hills that overlook the whole Valdarno valley. A landscapes of typical rolling Tuscan hills will welcome you covered with olive groves, vineyards and woods.
Located in the heart of Bucine, our agriturismo includes Villa Petrolo, built in the early decades of ‘700 by artist Massimiliano Soldani Benzi, and by 4 other surrounding farmhouses with 3 swimming-pools.
Villa Petrolo is ideal for cerimonies and events, being able to welcome in an exclusive location above 30 guests in 16 bedrooms, vast halls and gardens.
Three small private lakes at short walking distance add to Petrolo’s quiet surroundings.
The winery is dominated by the stone watchtower of Galatrona, proud legacy of an important medieval castle known at least since 963. Within the estate, facing Villa Petrolo, stands the ancient Romanesque church of San Giovanni a Galatrona which holds precious renaissance works fom the Della Robbia family. A few hiking paths leave from here towards the ridges that lead to the hamlets of San Leolino, Cennina and Solata worth discovering for exceptional scenaries, mushroom hunts and breathe local country life.
In this scenario, which combines nature, history, art and great hospitality, you’d be welcome to stay in one of the properties on the estate, invite family and friends for the special celebration you have in mind and visit the wine cellars that produce some of the most renowned wines in Italy and taste the products of the estate in a special context, in the very place where they are made.
